Thank you for helping to organise a great ESF!

Remuneration as a helper:

• General compensation: Free entrance to the ESF, 3 drink vouchers, helper T-shirt, invitation to the helper party!
• Dismantling shifts (only shifts ~01:45-08:45) Friday morning): 50.- CHF cash on your hand after the completed dismantling. These shifts are marked with a " * ".

Important for registration:

• If you have any doubts or questions, please send us an e-mail (helfer@esf.vseth.ch).
• Please be aware that for the shifts during the festival, you might have to be at the helper point 10-20 minutes before the shift starts. If the shift does not happen during ESF the meeting point is HXE B1.
• You will receive the exact times by email before the ESF. 
• Sign up with a valid email address. You will need to confirm it via a link (please also check your SPAM).
• You can also be assigned to similar and/or different work than what you signed up for. 
• You will receive the exact dates with the meeting point etc. shortly before your shift.
• You need to be at least 18 years old.

Especially for some shifts:

• Check the requirements mentioned when you select a shift!

Bar

You will stock up bars and take care of the Getränkewagen. Beginner friendly.

Decoration

Crafting the decorations for the ESF, as well as hanging up and taking down before and after the festival.

Shifts for decorating on 18.09. only necessary if you did not finish on the 17th.

Infrastructure

You set up the tents, bars and fences or take them down again.

Demanding physical work, good shoes required.

Technik

Setting up the technology in the party tents and in the HPH. Needs good shoes.

Helpers taking one of these shifts must be able to speak and understand German.

Awareness

As awareness helper you are responsible to check for and on people that are not feeling well, to be in the safety room and to inform people waiting in the queue about the awareness concept. Since you will be in contact with people that are potentially not feeling well, you should take this shift more seriously than others.

This job requires that you are sober the entire shift!

All awareness helpers have to come to a briefing a week before (either 17.9 or 22.9 at 18:00, ca. 30mins, in CAB E15.2 or online. You only have to attend at one date). You will be paired with another experienced awareness helper.
